Denver Boudoir Photographer – A New Little Life, and a Comeback!

Well, it has been over a month since I have posted anything. There are a few things that I’ve struggled with in the past month, especially as a Denver boudoir photographer, and as such, being in business for myself.

1. Taking Time OFF – Near damn impossible. It just doesn’t really work that way when you’re self-employed. Not only is it difficult to do, but I really love what I do! It’s hard to say no to people that I really connect with, and I’m fortunate that in the past month I have been able to accommodate most of my clients, so I didn’t have to say no too often. I really, truly, love what I do. Working with women to remember or realize how beautiful they really are is where I belong.

Well… kind of.

2. The struggle between family and business. My son is 10 years old and now has kind of his own life. He has friends that he wants to spend time with and school, so I was able to really focus my energy while he was in school. And now, I have a new little life to take care of, and that makes that focus really, really tough. There are times when I’m so tired, and think of everything that I have to do, and it’s hard to just SIT and be still. Then, she looks at me, or my son laughs with me, and I know in my heart that being there for my family is number one for me.

So it has been an interesting month for sure. I am excited to announce that LOTS of crazy new adventures will be coming up in 2015, with new team members and fun contests, and I wanted you ALL to know that I haven’t forgotten about you! I have tried to keep up with email, but I’m not completely caught up yet, and am continuing to work on that. The next couple of months are fairly full, but there are a couple of appointments still available. A very special model call will be going out via email, so if you’re not currently subscribed and a part of the IN-list, click here to subscribe now! There will also be some amazing limited edition sessions coming up in March, more information will be going out in email about that too!

Bottom line – I work with the most amazing people ever, and I appreciate your patience as I adjust to sleepless nights all over again. It’s a little different when the sleepless nights are because you’re out dancing all night, know what I mean? More to come!
