Yesterday we talked about learning – super important, right?
I believe very, very strongly in constantly learning. I believe that everyone has something they can learn from every other person on this planet – no matter what their background or current circumstances may be.
Part of being a photographer means connecting with some other amazing photographers, and I have been so blessed to be surrounded by some photographers that rock my world. The super talented Denise Birdsong-Zavala is teaching a workshop in Las Vegas, during WPPI, called Stripped Down.
There are a lot of things that go into sessions with women. We of course want to pose them in the most flattering way possible, making sure that lighting is set up in a way that is flattering and makes them look super gorgeous! But a huge part of working with women is getting emotion into the photos. Let’s face it, women are emotional creatures. So to capture that emotion in a photo is to really capture a part of her, in that moment, in that station of her life.
And that is what Stripped Down is all about! More information about Denise’s workshops can be found by clicking here. If you are a photographer joining us in Las Vegas next week, there are still spots available! Come learn with us. :)
Ready to book your session!? I’m excited! Click here to contact me and get more information about booking your session with me!

It has tips and tricks to help you look amazing in photos – whether your clothes are on or off – and avoid having to untag yourself in a social media photo again. Or, just laugh with me at various shenanigans and get early access to events, model calls, and awesome goings-on. Either way, come join the list. We have cocktails.
I am so privileged to be a top Denver boudoir photography specialist! My clients’ privacy is a top priority for these intimate portraits. Any and all boudoir images that are posted have been shared by the subject with written permission. I am honored that my clients choose to share their images with the world, and talk about their experiences with those images.
