Denver Boudoir Photography – The Gorgeous Ms. J

I am so excited to share this feature with you!

Ms. J wanted to do a boudoir session for several reasons, and I loved reading all of her feedback! As a Denver boudoir photographer, there is a LOT of information that goes back and forth before a session. There are nerves to quell, questions to answer, and just all around “PLEASE HELP ME” kind of emails and phone calls! In her pre-session questinonaire, Ms. J shared:

At 25, I feel that I have reached a level of womanhood that I wanted to be captured in a celebratory manner.

I really feel that so much changes at 25, especially for women. Yes, there are other ages that show even more positive changes, but 25 seems to be when we realize that the world is bigger than just us, and we want to accept who we are to really move forward and help others. I love love love what Ms. J had to say, and loved working with her! We were scheduled to do another session last year, but when I found out about my pregnancy and had to cut WAY back, she was so flexible, and we definitely need to reschedule. She is beautiful in and out, and I’m excited to show off her beautiful photos, and wise words!

Describe your body in 5 words:

Strong, Curvaceous, Sensual, Dependable, Mine

How do you feel about your body?

I feel proud about my body and all that it has done for me. I may always have ups and downs with my body, but in the end, I’m proud of all the journeys it has brought me through.

What do you love about your body?

Until recently, I have always answered this question based on what others reportedly like about my body, e.g. my eyes, my butt, etc… But my favorite parts are different. First, I love my strong legs that bring me up and down mountains and give me incredible freedom, and second (this one is weird) I love my collar bones. Who knows why? I just like how they feel.

What’s your best tip for feeling sexy?

Doing or wearing whatever makes me feel confident. I feel sexy when I feel confident.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your younger self?

You are so beautiful! Stop comparing yourself outwardly! Look to yourself to enjoy that inner and outer beauty; then cherish and celebrate it selflessly.
