Denver Boudoir Photography – 2013 Dazzling Diva Contest is LIVE!

Have you ever looked forward to something for so long that you PUT IT OFF because you’re nervous about making it happen? Even though you REALLY want to do it, you don’t, because of fear.

Well, no more fear. Today, a contest goes LIVE that I have wanted to do for awhile now!

I am looking for a Spokesmodel for my business for the next year, my Dazzling Diva, and entries are now being accepted! Yes, I realize that the name “Dazzling Diva” sounds a little cheesey. And I went back and forth for HOURS on different names, believe me. But it fits so perfectly for what I am looking for – the woman that is so comfortable with who she is that she lights up the room when she enters.

This is NOT a contest that is only for the supermodel bodies. I am looking for everyday women who are confident and sexy!

Why am I doing a spokesmodel search?
There are several times throughout the year that I want to try new things, or need someone to bounce ideas off of. Someone to get excited about my crazy ideas, and go with them! Someone to be a muse of sorts, to inspire me and laugh with me. Someone to help with promotional events, and someone to be the “face” of my business for the next year!

What am I looking for?
I didn’t want to use the word Spokesmodel in the name of the search because I don’t want any women to be mislead – this is NOT ABOUT BEING PERFECT. Supermodels have a special set of measurements, their bodies are typically very particular based on the industry. That is NOT what I want! I want an everyday woman, 21-60 years old. Someone that is confident with their body and who they are. Someone that is fun, charismatic, and loves to laugh. Someone that is connected with lots of different women and social media, and excited about what I do in trying to empower women and remind them of that sexiness inside. There is not a particular size or shape or face that I’m looking for, I really want someone that is all around awesome!

What does the Dazzling Diva get for participating?
First of all – bragging rights awwww yeah. I asked for a high five on Facebook and someone offered me a chest bump – so BUMP you get to tell everyone that you are a spokesmodel! You will receive 2-3 photo sessions throughout the year, based on the needs of the business. You will receive promotional products that will vary based on the events. You will receive an 8×8 album with 20 images from your sessions throughout the year. You will receive custom rep cards for promotional purposes, so that you can show off your gorgeous photos! You will receive CASH or print credit – your choice – for every referral that books a session. And, best of all, you get to be pampered, laugh, and have fun with me and my team.

What does it mean to be the Dazzling Diva?
It means that you will be the Spokesmodel for Brooke Summer Photography for one year. You must be at least 21 years old, and you must sign a full model release. Your photos will be used for promotional purposes, teaching, advertising, or other purposes necessary. Past or future clients are eligible to win. You MUST BE AVAILABLE for the test shoot, if you are chosen as a finalist, on Saturday, March 23, 2013 – no exceptions.

How does the contest work?
Entries will be accepted from March 1 through March 15, 2013. 3 finalists will be selected by a panel of photographers that specialize in women and boudoir. The 3 finalists chosen will all receive test shoots and an accordion album from their session with 6 images. The test shoot images will be posted and voting will begin on Friday, March 29, 2013. The voting will continue through April 5, 2013, and the winner will be announced on April 8!

So, how the heck do you enter?!
Send an email to diva@brookesummer.com with the information below, and two snapshots – one headshot, one full length body shot. These do NOT have to be professional photos, everyday photos are fine!

What’s the catch?
There is no catch, but here is the fine print or necessary information. The photo sessions will be primarily boudoir or glamour, and will be determined by Brooke Summer Photography based on the needs of the business. I reserve the right to refuse votes due to alleged fraud, or cancel the contest entirely due to crazy circumstances – so be nice, no drama. You must be willing to sign a full model release for all images captured. One promotional event, social media, blog, in person and other promotional services will be required. This could entail commenting on Facebook or blogs, and sharing information online or in person.
