Denver Wedding Photographers – Jolene & Justin – Hotel Monaco Downtown Denver
People are sometimes surprised to find out that yes, I photograph weddings as well. While it is not my main focus, when the right people come along, it is hard for me to say no to spending that amazing day with them. I’m a very emotional person, and being able to share such important moments with awesome people is a weakness for me! Being Denver wedding photographers means long hours, not just on the big day, but afterwards too. We take SO many photos, and want to make sure that the final photos delivered are not only snapshots, but art that clients would be proud to hang on the wall. Not just in 8×10’s either – HUGE canvases!
Jolene and Justin contacted me months ago with some questions about wedding photography. We set up a Skype date and immediately got along, laughing and sharing stories. We commiserated over the fact that my husband is a huge Chicago Bears fan. Okay, well maybe I was the only one sad about that, but still. Usually I can tell when a couple will be a good fit, and I knew that we would be a great match.
When we had the chance to do their engagement session in downtown Denver, we laughed even more. Jolene is so laid back and relaxed, and watching Justin love her made me smile all night. He is very protective of her, and I watched as he would grab her hand crossing the street, or glance back at her, just to make sure she is okay. There is just something about the way a groom looks at his bride, and that look was ever present on their wedding day as well.
A beautiful August day, with gorgeous weather, surrounded by family and friends – who can ask for more? When I had asked about their colors, Jolene said there would be lots of colors, and she was right. The details were planned without going over the top – the focus was still on family and friends, and loving each other and everyone around them. Jolene and Justin – we were honored to be a part of your big day, and I’m so excited to get your images to you! Your kindness and grace for each other and others around you is contagious, and we wish you all of the love and blessings in the world in your new marriage and family!
Please note: the images will be posted on Facebook, please do not take screenshots for social media, as it degrades the image quality. They will be posted, I promise.
