Colorado Wedding Photographer – Eclectic Wedding Showcase – Industrial Elegance!
I believe this is true of any industry – there are amazing people, and some people that are just okay. I think this is for several reasons – not only does skill factor into whether someone is amazing or just okay, but their attitude. The amazing people are easy to work with, positive, and supportive – and kickass at what they do. They are the people that draw you in, make you laugh, and make you forget that you are working REALLY HARD because you are enjoying what you’re doing so much!
I am SO fortunate to be able to work with lots of amazing people, and the team that put together this beautiful vignette for the Eclectic Wedding Showcase a couple of months ago are no exception.
First, some notes about this amazing wedding showcase – WOW. I love working with couples that want to do something a little DIFFERENT for their wedding day, and this show was all about different! There were wedding vignettes that were a little dark, some that were super fun, body paint, models with some wicked makeup and costumes, and it was just all around very, very cool. Definitely a bridal show that was different and unique! This show was a result of ideas and hard work from a LOT of people, but the beautiful mind that came up with the overall concept was that of Jewels Gray – part of a creative photography team and a stunning makeup artist! All of the vignettes were a little different and unique, and I was assigned to work with some amazing professionals for Industrial Elegance!
Lilli and Jay are the awesome minds behind the concept, and when they told me what they were doing I knew that I wanted to work with them on it! Old and rusted, with new and beautiful. The contrast between the two makes for SUCH a cool duo, even just listening to them brainstorm was exciting! When I saw what they actually put together, and how they worked together so beautifully, I was excited to capture it for them.
The vignette is Industrial Elegance – old car parts, rusted pieces, with gorgeous flowers and crystals and shine. Lilli even created a Calla-lier – her word and I love it – complete with floral pieces that hung from the light to accent the settings.
Part of being a Colorado Wedding Photographer means photographing some beautiful setups, and this was definitely a gorgeous vignette! I wanted to showcase not only the hard work that Lilli and Jay and all of the professionals put into this, but also get some ideas online, so that future brides can Pin them or be inspired. I know that both Lilli and Jay inspire me, I wanted to pass that inspiration along!
These are some of the amazing professionals that were a part of this!
Denver Wedding Florist – Lilli Black with Bella Calla
Denver Wedding Coordinator – Jay Villa with Superior Events
Colorado Wedding Photographer – Brooke Summer Photography
Denver Wedding Cupcakes – Yours Truly Cupcakes
