Denver Boudoir Studio – Throwback Sessions
Have you ever had something hanging over your head that is so overwhelming and daunting, that instead of actually doing it, you just put it off? And put it off? And put it off some more? And then before you know it, so much time has passed and you STILL haven’t completed it, even though it is something that you really need to do?
Yeah, that never happens to me either. Like, never.
Except when it comes to blogging.
I have been clearing hard drives and going back to some really old sessions. I am so blessed to have some beautiful women into my Denver boudoir studio, and even more honored that they are comfortable sharing their Denver boudoir photos! I will start incorporating some of these sessions into my blog in the next few months, so if you see some studio shots that look a little different from my current studio, you will know why!
It is amazing to see how much things have changed.
My Denver boudoir studio has grown to host hundreds of women, and we have moved into downtown Denver, into a beautiful historical building. I have laughed and cried with so many amazing women, and learned more about their stories, and why they chose to do a session. It’s amusing to me to see people sneer at boudoir photography, as if it is just some pinup poster type photo. Yes, the photos are beautiful, and yes, there are some definite sexy side effects! But overall, boudoir photography is about so much more. It is about reminding yourself that you are a beautiful woman, who is full of power and confidence. It is a reminder that even on the worst days, when we feel like something the cat dragged in, that we are beautiful!
Boudoir photography is important.
