Denver Boudoir Photos – Throwback Feature: The Gorgeous Mrs. E

I can’t believe it has been almost two years since this beautiful woman came into my Denver boudoir studio. So much has changed since then, my shooting, my editing, and I have grown so much. We have become friends and keep in touch on Facebook and chat via email every so often, and I can honestly say that she is a beautiful woman, inside and out. I can’t WAIT to have her back in studio and rock some more outfits and that gorgeous smile gain!

Several of my clients may have seen her featured in a sample album that is in studio, those blue eyes tend to really stand out on the cover! But she hasn’t been featured on the blog yet, so today’s feature is a Throwback Feature, with the Gorgeous Mrs. E!

Describe your body in 5 words:
Average, Stretched and hail damaged :) , a little neglected, Pear shaped, flat chested.

How do you feel about your body?
It needs work, but as a busy mom, spanx will have to do for now.

What do you love about your body?
My eyes.

How did you feel about being half naked in front of the camera?
Super self conscious.

How did you feel after seeing the photos we created?
AMAZING, I never knew I was so beautiful. I am proud to show them off!

What do you wear when you want to feel amazingly gorgeous?
Jeans, a cute top and heels.

What’s your best tip for feeling sexy?
Confidence, most people don’t know that I have self esteem & body issues, I can fake it really well.

How do you feel about your age?
I love my age, I have the confidence now that I never did when I was really thin and had a great body. I’m a cute and sassy, almost 40 yr old!

Do you feel like your age affects how sexy you really are?
Not at all, like fine wine we get better with age!

What gets better with age?
Me and Wine! LOL…No but really, I think I love myself inside and out so much more than I did when I was younger.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?
To do something out of the box for the person in my life, and it ended up to be the greatest gift to myself.

What is the thing you would want to share most with other women when it comes to getting half naked in front of a camera?
If you have the right photographer it will be completely comfortable, fun and really rewarding.

Are there any memories that stick out to you that trigger certain feelings about how you feel about your body – negative or positive?
My mom at a very impressionable age (14ish) told me I had “stovepipe ankles”…. pretty much I had cankles, I have hated my legs and ankles ever since.

If you wanted to tell your daughter, niece, or a young girl anything about how she feels about herself, what would you want to share?
Every part of you is beautiful, and to NEVER be ashamed of what you have been given, we only have one chance to live this life, do it with you head held high and love yourself.

Is there anything else that you would like to share about your story, why you did your session, or your overall experience?
I still go on and on to other women that I truly believe every woman needs to experience a session like I did to really see how beautiful you are. It was an incredible experience.

Mrs. E’s session was before I did before and after photos, and even now I still forget them sometimes. Most of my clients are so thrilled with their photos that they offer to take a quick cell phone photo for a before, an everyday snapshot!
