Denver Boudoir Photos – Featuring the Gorgeous Mrs. S!

Last year was a crazy year. Although the more I do with both my family and business, the crazier the years get, so I don’t know that life will ever really slow down!

I had an insane travel schedule last year, which included me traveling several times towards the beginning of the year. Right as we were moving into the new studio. I was traveling when we actually got the KEYS for the new studio, and my amazing assistant Amy, and my dear husband Tom, were the ones to move everything into the studio. Talk about stressful! Knowing that someone else was moving everything in for me, and that I had a session on the day after I arrived home. I knew that Amy would make the studio look fantastic, although my husband has a little bit of a different idea of how things should look. Let’s just say that my studio is the place where I can hang girly things, because at home, he thinks they’re ridiculous.

Mrs. S came into the studio with her friend and loved it! She was getting married and wanted a unique and sexy groom’s gift, and she was the first client ever to have her Denver boudoir photos taken in the new studio! We laughed a lot, and had fun with some unique props that she brought with her. I had some specific ideas for the handcuffs, but wasn’t quite tall enough to put chains over the overhead beams. When I got home and Tom asked how my first session was in the new space, I told him I needed chains. I didn’t elaborate at first – totally worth it for the look I got!

Overall this was such a fun and awesome session. I love it when my clients have ideas for what they think would be cool, and the Denver boudoir photos we created turned out to be fantastic! Especially with handcuffs and whiskey. ;)

How did you feel after seeing the photos we created?

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

I wanted to do a wedding gift for my fiance (now husband) that he would never think I would do! ;P

What is the thing you would want to share most with other women when it comes to getting half naked in front of a camera?

I just had to keep telling myself that this is for my future husband and I KNOW he would love it!

What do you feel when you look at the images now, well after your session?

When is the next one? Once I gave the gift to my now husband he wants me to do it again, but so he could be there when taking the pictures. It gave me a confidence and drive to be myself.
