Boudoir Photography Aurora CO – Featuring the Beautiful Mrs. S!
I have so many features waiting to be shared that sometimes it gets overwhelming. We always look at side effects, right? What are the side effects of medication, of decisions, what will happen when I do this? When I decided to do boudoir photography in Aurora, CO, Denver boudoir photography and worldwide boudoir, I never thought that my clients would be so open to telling me their stories. I guess that should have been a given, people have always been very open with me, but learning more about their past and future really strikes me with every session.
Mrs. S’s responses hit me hard, for a few reasons. One, she was so amazingly sweet to work with and such a kind person, and two, I can’t imagine anyone ever calling her ugly. People can be so cruel sometimes, and reprogramming our brains to decide which external responses to take and which ones to reject is HARD.
Sorry, getting ahead of myself. Mrs. S wanted to share some of her story:
How did you feel about being half naked in front of the camera?
I was a nervous wreck!!! But Brooke made it so much fun and comfortable that I didn’t want the session to stop!!
How did you feel after seeing the photos we created?
I think you made a darn good job editing my photos!!! LOL! I look like a bombshell!!!
What do you wear when you want to feel amazingly gorgeous?
Perfume, Mascara, Heels and a Smile!
When you are facing a day feeling kind of blah, what do you do to turn it around and help yourself feel beautiful and confident again?
Taylor Swift. I watch her music video all the time and her music, beauty and talent inspires me to keep on moving and feel beautiful.
What gets better with age?
I feel I’m smarter as I age. I love the independence and freedom that comes with it.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your younger self?
Take your time…Have fun while you’re young…don’t rush!
What’s the best compliment you ever received?
You’re so gorgeous, I want your DNA!
Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?
Made it as a wedding gift for my husband. I made my photos into video and he can’t stop watching it! He can’t get enough!
What is the thing you would want to share most with other women when it comes to getting half naked in front of a camera?
Have fun!!! Be playful!!! It’s an art! Show what your mama gave you!
Are there any memories that stick out to you that trigger certain feelings about how you feel about your body – negative or positive?
I remember when I was going to compete for a beauty contest and had ask my family for their support and they told me that I’m just wasting their time because they think I’m ugly and not going to make it.

When I was growing up my family always tells me that I’m just a ugly duckling. After I had a photo session with you few months ago, my husband truly loved my photos and it gave me a boost of confidence and made me feel that I’m not a ugly duckling after all. I would like to let every one know that no matter what their shape, size, age and color is, every person is beautiful! Thanks to you!
