Last year was a crazy year for me, my first year shooting weddings! Because of that, the weddings that I was the second shooter for were never blogged. All of the photos were delivered and loved, but just not shared here! For that reason, I will be sharing the photos on the anniversary date, to celebrate one year of marriage!

Ashley and Sam were married on a gorgeous August Saturday, at the Sunrise Amphitheater in Boulder, CO. Erik of Jamee Photography had asked me to second shoot, and I was thrilled! We started out at the Hotel Boulderado, another first for me. What a gorgeous hotel, I loved all of the historical details.

The room was beautiful, although that could have just been because of the gorgeous ladies that were there, getting ready for the big day!

We drove with Ashley up to the forest surrounding the amphitheater for the first look!

They say the day goes so fast, but you don’t really notice it until you’re directly involved. Before we knew it, it was time for Ashley’s dad to join us to walk his daughter down the aisle. He was so proud of Ashley, and proud to have her arm in his!

After the ceremony we headed back into downtown Boulder for some portraits, and the reception at the Duschanbe Teahouse! The Teahouse was truly unique, I have never seen a venue quite like it.

There are few things I love more in photos, after the wedding, than seeing how a groom looks at his bride. There is a sense of pride and humility all at once, and an overwhelming sense of love.
