Day 2 – November 3, 2011 – 29 Days of Thankfulness
Today I am thankful for my son, Kaden. He is kind and thoughtful, and has a killer sense of humor. I think that he is starting to take on Tom’s and my sense of humor – dry and sarcastic. I’m not really sure if that is a good thing, but we have a ton of fun with it! Kaden is super protective of me, and always willing to give mommy lovin’ when I need it! He is always there to encourage others, and when he is in a position of competition, he is a fierce competitor while being SUCH a good sport at the same time. He has such a compassion for people who need help.
It’s really hard for me to write this because I can’t adequately describe my feelings for him. This little boy is such an unbelievable blessing in my life. He is an amazing kid and I thank God every single day for the opportunity to be his mother.
We took our annual trip to Anderson Farms a couple of weeks ago, and even though I’m sure the goats had been fed all day, Kaden was DETERMINED that they were starving and just needed HIM to feed them!
