Denver Boudoir Photography – Happy International Womens Day!

I am currently in Las Vegas, attending a trade show, working with amazing people, and seeing new and fun things. And while Vegas is fun, my feet are KILLING me.

So I’m taking a moment away from my Denver boudoir photography and trade show fun to send a shout out to all of my family members, clients, amazing women I’ve worked with, and basically any female out there that might need a little boost today.

Happy International Women’s Day!

We STILL make less than our male counterparts. We face rape, assault, and discrimination because of our gender. We deal with a monthly pain every month, bear children, and face messages every day that we are not good enough, smart enough, or pretty enough to do what we want to do.

FUCK IT ALL.

Some truths for you today:

1. You are enough to do whatever you want to do, exactly as you are.
2. When you are kind and gracious to others, that beauty shines around you, no matter what size you are, what color skin you have, what background you come from, or anything else.
3. We ALL have insecurities, and things that bother us about our bodies.
4. Kindness to other women lifts ALL of us, and empowers us all to change the world where we see fit.
5. You can do, be, or accomplish whatever you want when you really work your ass off and make it happen.

I adore you all, and hope that you can look at yourself in the mirror today and say “I’m a beautiful badass and today will be an awesome day.” Is it cheesy? Maybe. But do it anyway. And keep doing it, over and over again. You deserve it.
