Colorado Boudoir Studio – Looks I Love – NUDE!
So this will be a little racy. And controversial. Because technically I started the whole Looks I Love series to show off lingerie that I find randomly that I really like. But quite frankly, my favorite images lately that I have been working with in my Colorado boudoir studio have been in the buff.
In your birthday suit.
Whatever you want to call it – I totally love it. There is something so SIMPLE and lovely about just you and the camera. And a well placed sheet. Or not.
There isn’t the need to worry about what to wear, you don’t have to think about whether something fits properly, you don’t have to worry about making sure you brought all the pieces.
It is ALL YOU. So today, let’s talk about some nude photos, and different looks you can do in the buff!
Before we go into details, the obligatory link must be shared, because I have curated years and years of articles on what to wear, and so many people ask me, so here you go.

Today’s Looks I Love is going to be a little different, because instead of lingerie photos that I’ve curated from other sites to show you some awesome pieces, I’m going to show you some different moods that you can get with JUST YOU.
That’s right, nothing else, no weird straps, no garters, no colors that don’t quite match but damnit they’re close.
I feel like women see the word NUDE and fall into one of two camps: either hell yes take off all the clothes because it feels amazing, or hell no never in a million years I would wear clothes in the shower if I could. I know that the thought of nudity seems scary, because there’s nothing to cover, but with the right posing and lighting and my help in making you feel comfortable, I swear that your nudes could turn out to be some of your most favorites!
Nude photos can fall into so many categories, but these are the categories that I see over and over again.
First up: the fun and playful.
The scared-to-be-nudes have a hard time believing that being naked could be fun – but I swear, once you’re naked and feeling amazing, you’re going to wonder what took so long.
Second: the kind of nude but hiding with something meaningful.
Yep, it’s implied, so you don’t have to be COMPLETELY nude. Sometimes props aren’t really… sexy. Like ski boots. Or motorcross gloves. But they CAN be sexy when they’re used in a playful way, with some nudity!
Her husband’s kilt – YES kilt boudoir! (my love for Scottish history is peeking out there)
A special piece of jewelry!
A special shirt, jersey, or fabric!
Third: the super racy and suggestive but still classy and never trashy nude. Hold onto your hats!
To have a suggestive element to a photo doesn’t mean that it has to be revealing everything. There is a lot to be said for the mystery, and leaving a little to the imagination, even when naked!
Fourth: the super sexy but just gorgeous, relaxing nude.
Finally: the this is how I woke up just happened to have my hair and makeup done nude, sometimes outdoors or in the shower or in the bath.
Totally normal. ;)
I know that the thought of nudity strikes fear into the hearts of so many women, but I want to encourage you to think about a nude look for your session. They are usually the last shots we do, and often the favorites. They are gorgeous, simple, and just beautiful!
Because YOU are beautiful!
Top Secret: there will be a special chance to be nude coming up, so keep an eye out and let’s book your session and get you naked!
