Female Boudoir Photographer Colorado: Looks I Love – Pinks!
I have been a little more lax in blogging lately, I blame moving. And life. And work! As the top female boudoir photographer in Colorado, I work with the most amazing clients, and work to make SURE they have an awesome experience!
Which means not a ton of time left to blog. ;)
But yesterday, I was looking at some lingerie online after one of my clients asked me for some online shops. Some of it is horrifying, like one piece that ONLY covered nipples. Like, it was a string, with nipple covers. Seriously? But some of it was gorgeous! While I love my Wear This Not That series, and What to Wear for Your Boudoir Session series, I wanted to do something that was easier and faster. I wanted a chance to share with you some looks that I love, right now, without comparing things, without going into a ton of detail. Basically, I want to highlight a few pieces that will photograph beautifully!
Now obviously, all bodies are a little different. Some of these pieces may be super flattering on one body type, and not another, they are truly just random pieces that I have found in scouring the internet lately. I’m going to categorize them so if you’re looking for a specific color or style, you can find them here.

So we’re going to call this Looks I Love. It’s going to be a quick post, with links on where to buy, and a photo – not my photos, but from the websites, so that you can see the ad photos. Most of them are fairly new and I haven’t photographed them yet to even share a photo!
Today’s edition of Looks I Love is PINKS!
I never in my life thought I would ever have an entire laundry load of pinks and reds. Then I had my daughter, who is two years old now. We literally have an entire load of pink. And no, this is not some color thrust on her by gender standards – that is her favorite and she loves it. I have grown to love it too, especially blush pink, and raspberry pink!
So today, I give you looks I love in pink.
THIS is from Agent Provocateur’s new line that I’m totally in love with, Essie. You can see more details here. There are so many things I love about this line, and especially the body suit. I love that it combines the strappy with the lace. I love the little cap sleeves. I love the straps across cleavage in the front. I love the detail on the back and the small clasp. Out of everything on this list today, this is probably a favorite!
I really, really like this set. I like the darker stitching in the detail, and I really like the stockings that they’ve paired with it in the photo. It would also be flattering on several body types! I love the straps on top as well. I don’t love the g-string that comes with it, the strings that they try to pass off as panties don’t really work well for most women. But overall, this set is beautiful, and I love the color! This is from Yandy, click here for more information!
I really love the lace detail with the floral print and the lace up detail in this set! This is a bustier with a high waisted panty, which would be perfect if you’re a little self conscious about your tummy, like myself. Plus, it has a full cup for the bra, instead of just lace, for a little more support in the front! This is from Victoria’s Secret, click here for more information.
I know I know – this is not a super over the top sexy piece of lingerie. But I really, really like it, and it would photograph beautifully if you want something that is a little more casual. It is from Hips and Curves, a larger size lingerie store, click here for more information. This would also be super cute lounge wear, especially in the summer, to lie in bed all day with someone and laugh together. Just sayin’.
Okay so technically this is coral, I never know if that is pink or orange. Kind of both. But seriously, this is gorgeous. I love the detail on the front and the straps on the bra, but also love the ruffles and the thong cut back! This one is from Yandy, a new store that I found on recommendation from some boudoir photographer friends! Click here for more information!
I really sent this one to a client and I really, really like it. This is from Victoria’s Secret, click here for more information. I love the waist line, and the racerback style on the back, as well as the straps on the top! It’s hard to see in the photo, but it actually zips up in the front, which would be fun for photos too!
I know I know, I can hear it now – really, Brooke, shorts? These can be super sexy and again, a perfect fit for a more casual look. Keep in mind that you have a few outfit options with your session – which means you can do a casual look and still do the racy look too! The lace on these is beautiful, and I love the higher cut in the back too! This is also from Yandy, click here for more information!
This bodysuit is beautiful, and I struggled with which photo to show you. The detail on the front is gorgeous, but there is a satin ribbon on the back that I love too! This is from Asos, click here to see all views. I really like the plunging neckline and the lace detail on the hips!
This one is a little different, and I wasn’t sure whether to put into pink or black, so I’m just going to GO for it in the pinks. I love the lace detail, and the high waisted panty is gorgeous! This is from Yandy, click here for more information. So many of my clients are self conscious about their tummies after having kids, this would hide any areas that you may be self conscious about, to help you feel super confident!
Most of my clients know how much I love long line bras. That extra bit of fabric underneath the cups is super flattering and just beautiful! I also love the ruffles on the garter belt, and the nude stockings as well! The gold trim (zoom in on the website) and detail on the bra is a huge plus as well. This is from Yandy, click here for more information.
So many options, so many pinks!
