I really, really enjoy these two.

I met Yessenia at an Applebee’s back in April to talk about her wedding. She brought her sister with her, and both of them were so laid back! We talked about the details, about their family, and planned for her wedding in August. I hadn’t had the chance to meet Ruben yet, but I figured that he was probably just as laid back as she was. I’m pleased to say that I was right. :)

We met up with Yessenia and Ruben and their adorable children at Commons Park to take some photos. It’s always hard to be in front of the camera, but you would never know that it was hard for them – they were naturals! I love to see it when guys are attentive with their brides. And score extra points – BIG ones – when they’re attentive with their children too!

Oh MY! Wow, I am so loving these shoes!! Now, if I wore these for a photo shoot I would only wear them for photos, and walk around in flip flops or something. But Yessenia walked all around the park in these. I kept telling her – she was a PRO!

Yessenia and Ruben brought a family member to help with the children while we were shooting – which I *HIGHLY* recommend for any engaged couples that have children that they want to include. While we were shooting these shots, Yessenia and Ruben were looking amazing…

And we got attacked! The kids came up to get in the photo, what a beautiful family!

Okay I know… enough with the shoes, right? I love them!

Yessenia and Ruben, it was an absolute pleasure to play around with your family at the park for your engagement session. I can’t wait for your wedding! And it’s coming up super quick! I can’t wait. :)
