Denver Personal Branding Photography – CRAVE Denver Launch Party!
I’m so excited to share this with you guys today.
I kind of gave a little explanation of CRAVE Denver on a previous post, and a sneak peek on Friday, and now I’m pleased to give you several of the photos that I took at the party.
CRAVE is a book that is a collection of tons of businesses that are all female owned. The entreprenesses (Fun word right? I don’t care if Google is underlining it with red and telling me that it’s wrong, I like it!) all have a spread in the book that highlights information about their business, and some Q&A with the owners directly.
This has been such a neat project to be a part of! When I was at the party, the videographer asked me if I would appear on video, if I was shy. I don’t think I told her this directly, but when she asked me that all I could think was, “shy isn’t a word used to describe me!” Ha! I can be shy though, I really can. It just doesn’t happen very often. She told me that the question she would ask me would be “What do you Crave?” Hmm… I had the chance to think about it for awhile. When she came over later, I had the perfect answer, and I meant every word.
I crave genuine people. People that care. People that love, do nice things for others, and serve others. People that are nice, people that are kind and generous. And most of all, people that do all of these things because it’s the right thing to do, not because of what they will get in return. Not because of the payoff, but because their actions are coming from their heart.
And that is what I feel I have been a part of with CRAVE.
I have had the opportunity to meet so many awesome people. I did a little bit of a rundown previously, but I’ll do it again, because I really believe in the power of community, and supporting others. First of all, the fabulous Denver City Leader, Mia of Blue Heron Consulting. Max of Max Oliver PR. John of John Bosley Photography. Eunice of Eunice Brownlee Photography. Maria of Studio Sister. Tina of My Worthwhile Style. Erin of Villain Design and Hula Moon Events and Bartending. Jessica of Pink Champagne Events. I actually met Keri a little before the whole CRAVE thing, but she is amazing and has been a big part of the book too, from Keri Doolittle Photography.
There have been so many amazing people working on this project, and everyone’s work and support has contributed to the success of the book! Things are moving forward, life is changing. 2011 is going to be an amazing year, and the CRAVE Denver release was an awesome start!
And now, because I’ve been talking entirely too much in this post, I will give the pictures. That’s what you want right, that’s why you’re here? Not to listen to me gush. :)
First, some details. The catering was done by Elements Catering, and Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering. I didn’t get a chance to eat much, but I did try some of the FABULOUS food from both caterers. Wow… yummy yum. The cupcakes were done by Denver’s Cupcake Truck, and Happy Cakes Bakeshop. Again, SO good!! You can’t have a party full of awesome women without having awesome food to go with, right? The centerpieces were created by some excellent floral designers, although I could only find one name – Ladybird Poppy! I will get the others for you as well, as soon as I can.
John made sure that no one got by him without a photo with the CRAVE board!
And the party was of course, for the BOOK launch! The entreprenesses (curse you, Google underline!) were excited to see themselves printed in the book!
The beautiful Max striking a pose. For some reason the Ru Paul song just started playing in my head… You betta work! ;)
CRAVE’s founder flew into Denver for the party, Melody Biringer.
Mia and Greg! I love seeing a guy support his Love in following her dreams. There’s nothing sexier in a man than seeing that love!
And last but certainly not least, Mia and Shawna. CRAVE Denver leader, and CRAVE Phoenix leader. And both beautiful!
