Happy Monday Internet!

This weekend was a bit of a whirlwind, and although I got a ton done, I feel like I got nothing done! While vacuuming yesterday and listening to my iPod one of my favorite songs came on that I haven’t heard in a VERY long time: One Little Heartbeat at a Time by Steven Curtis Chapman. What a gorgeous song. I had more written about it but since this is Manic Monday and not Brooke-is-being-super-sappy-watch-out-she-might-cry-Monday, I decided to just go with the short description. Mothers need to hear this song, and know that even in life’s everyday craziness, when you take the time to “do” the things most important, you are changing the lives of your children for the better. So check it out, seriously cool.

Moving on so Brooke doesn’t cry… ;) We need to know WHO to see at the CHUN Denver People’s Fair! Tom and I will be photographing the fair this year and we’re looking for awesome bands to see. Obviously we can’t see them all, the entertainment schedule is CRAZY! Leave a comment and let us know who is worth seeing! We love funk music, stuff you can dance to. Usually we recognize some of the bands because of Tom’s background but this year they’re new to us, except for Hazel Miller! Who’s cool, who’s fun, who do we want to see?

Tom and I went to a burlesque show on Saturday night, and wow. It was definitely racier than we thought it would be, but we had a ton of fun!

I will be checking out a wedding venue tonight! Not for my own wedding (that is already confirmed!) but for brides that I’m working with. It should be fun, I will let you all know what I think!

Wednesday I will be featuring tips and tricks for engagement photos. How to make your photos better! If you have anything you’d like to add to the conversation, please email me!

I found this quote in a Flickr picture, and love it… for all you photographers and artists out there. It’s from The War of Art, by Steven Pressfield.

If you find yourself asking yourself (and your friends), “Am I really a writer? Am I really an artist?” chances are you are. The counterfeit innovator is wildly self-confident. The real one is scared to death.”

I have a few things coming up and I’m scared. Excited, thrilled, Oh-My-GOSH jumping up and down but still scared. It’s not always a bad thing though, I’m learning that. It will be awesome though. :)

Happy Monday to everyone, have a fantastic week!
