Denver Engagement Photography – Lorynne and Chuck – Engagement!
Did you know that 1 in 6 couples today have met online? It has become increasingly difficult to find someone that you’re compatible with – between busy schedules, families, work, and everything in between. The internet is a resource for what seems like everything now – jobs, school, socializing, and most definitely, dating! It seems weird, right? Put some information about yourself online, hope that some nice person sees your profile and likes what they see, instead of some weirdo. But that’s exactly what happened with Chuck and Lorynne. They both put themselves out there, hoping for the best.
That’s what online dating really is, right? Hope. I guess that’s what dating in general is. Hope that you can find someone that you’re compatible with. Someone that loves you, even with your flaws. Someone that you can tolerate even on their worst days. Someone that you know will drive you crazy for the rest of your life, and you actually look forward to it.
When Lorynne told me about Chuck, we were sitting at Chick-Fil-A so our boys could play. She told me she had met someone, and I wanted all of the details! She gushed about how cute he is, and then got a look on her face like she wasn’t sure whether to laugh or be concerned. I asked what it was, she said “he likes… slow jams.” I started laughing and asked for more clarification, what the heck did she mean? She told me he loves music like Jodeci, Silk, and Keith Sweat. We both laughed SO hard, but we both know that we secretly like those songs too. What can I say, we have eclectic taste!
Lorynne is one of the warmest, most loving people I’ve ever met. Despite the crappy stuff that has happened at times in her past, she has always come out shining. When she said she was seeing Chuck, I won’t lie, I was a little protective. But as I saw them together more and more, it is clear that he adores her and will do anything he can to make her happy.
We went to Clear Creek Historic Park, in Golden, CO to take some engagement photos, and they were TOTALLY awesome. I love it when people are up for anything! I asked them to sit in a field, and there was no hesitation at all. Braden was game for photos, but their younger son, Noah, wasn’t very happy. We were able to get a few shots where he wasn’t scowling though. Just a little serious.
Look at this cutie.
Oh my GOSH look at how awesome they are!
I so love this picture. It looks like he’s saying “well hello ladies, how you doin’?”
Okay this photo is out of focus because it was crazy turn around fast, but it’s hilarious and I had to share. We were on the main strip in Golden, taking photos, and these two guys with ice cream decided they wanted a part of the action. Too funny!
What a gorgeous family!
