Let’s be real – life can be hard sometimes. It isn’t all perfect and amazing all the time, and sometimes you just have to grin and bear it. And while I work with beautiful women all the time, helping them to feel and look sexy, the most beautiful curve on a woman’s body is her smile. I didn’t write that, and can’t find a source, so we’re just going with it.

When the gorgeous Ms. A came to pick up her order, she informed me that we have tickets for an upcoming comedy show – YAY! Not just any comedy show, but a female comedian that is highly inappropriate. Codeword: perfect for Brooke. And my clients, and my awesome ladies!

When I saw that April Macie was coming to town a few years ago, I had no idea who she was. When I looked her up on YouTube and watched, I almost spit out my drink. Tom asked me what I was laughing at, and I told him it wasn’t for him. And it truly isn’t – he doesn’t appreciate that kind of humor from a woman. A woman on stage telling a guy she can see… well… you’ll just have to come with us to figure it out. April Macie is hilarious, inappropriate, and a little raunchy – and really, really makes me laugh. Oh, and freakin’ gorgeous. April, when you’re in Denver next, we should definitely do a session!

I think I need a shirt that says I love wieners. (PS spell check says i before e except after c…. so is it wieners or weiners? I can’t believe I’m debating the correct spelling of weiners?)

And Tom would never be seen in public with me wearing it!

So here are the deets:

1. The show is Thursday, August 6th at 7:30pm. We will be meeting at 6:30pm for a cocktail beforehand!
2. The Denver Improv is located in Stapleton/Northfield, off of I-70.
3. There are a limited number of tickets available, which is what brings us to the next detail!

Instagram is new to me, and quite frankly, I’m insta-challenged. So we’re going to try this.

While setting up this contest, I was looking for photos of myself with my BFF. I found this beautiful photo of my mom with HER best friend, at our wedding in 2011.

And while looking, I realized that I have very few nice photos of my BFF Ryan and I. I have decided this must change, but that’s a story for another time. So in the meantime, here is a photo booth photo from the wedding where I have a chicken hat on. Actually is that a chicken or a rooster, because if it’s a rooster that opens the door for a whole plethora of naughty jokes…

The point is, my BFF makes me laugh. We have a TON of inappropriate inside jokes that have been building up over the time that we’ve known each other. I won’t say how long, because well, that makes us feel old, so don’t ask. We won’t talk about that.

We laugh so hard we cry. We have so much dirt on each other that books and books could be written and not cover everything. Encyclopedias might be more appropriate. WIKIPEDIA could not contain us!

So here’s the giveaway – I want to see who makes you laugh. I want to know who you adore, who makes you laugh so hard you might pee yourself, or who you would like to take to this special ladies night out! Is it your BFF? If it’s your partner, who’s a guy, that’s okay too – although he might be a little uncomfortable at this particular performance. Is it your sister? Your mom? Your cousin? Your kids? Your BFF who moved away and you’re so sad that you Photoshopped a photo of you two together to feel closer? Creep factor might be a little high on that last one, but hey, no judgment.
