Please note that policies, pricing, procedures and session details may change over time.
While this page provides a general overview of studio policies, your signed contract contains the specific terms agreed upon for your session and will always take precedence in the event of any discrepancy.
Certain session types, special events, promotions, model calls, or limited edition sessions may include different terms, policies, timelines, or requirements. Please review your contract carefully and reach out with any questions before your session – I’m always happy to help.
You’ll notice that many of these policies encourage you to reach out to Brooke before your session. I’m one of the more flexible photographers in the area when it comes to specific themes, props, wardrobe, sets, animals, and creative ideas – but communication ahead of time is important. We want to make sure everyone involved is safe, comfortable, and fully prepared, including clients, assistants, stylists, animals, and studio staff.
Booking, Scheduling & Appointments
Booking a Session
Sessions may be booked online, over the phone, or via email. At the time of booking, a session date and time will be selected, and a signed contract along with the required session fee and retainer must be completed in order to reserve your session date.
Session fees and retainers are non-refundable.
Reveal & Ordering Appointments
All product and image orders are expected to be completed during the reveal & ordering appointment. Reveal & ordering appointments are typically scheduled within 1-2 weeks of the session date, and no later than 30 days after the session.
In limited circumstances, Brooke may approve a short extension of up to 3 days to finalize an order.
If an additional reveal & ordering appointment is requested for any reason, a $200 administrative fee will apply and must be paid before the additional appointment is confirmed.
Orders not completed within the approved timeframe may result in the associated images being permanently deleted and unrecoverable.
Online reveal & ordering appointments via Zoom are available only for clients who have pre-paid for their collection before their session, or for clients traveling more than 2 hours for their session.
Rescheduling & Cancelations
Due to the extensive planning, preparation, scheduling coordination, and limited availability involved in reserving a session date, all retainers and payments made are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
If a client chooses to cancel their session, the following cancellation fees will apply based on the amount of notice provided before the original session date:
- 30 or more days before the session date:
No additional cancellation fee beyond forfeiture of all payments already made. - 15-29 days before the session date:
Forfeiture of all payments made, plus a $500 cancellation fee. - 8-14 days before the session date:
Forfeiture of all payments made, plus a $1000 cancellation fee. - 7 days or fewer before the session date:
Forfeiture of all payments made, plus a $1500 cancellation fee.
If the original session date is successfully rebooked with another paid client, additional cancellation fees beyond payments already made may be reduced or waived at Photographer discretion.
A no call/no show will result in forfeiture of all payments made, plus a $1500 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule their session ONE time with at least 30 days’ notice at no additional charge, based on Photographer availability and provided the new session date takes place within 90 days of the original session date.
Additional reschedules, or rescheduling requests made with fewer than 30 days’ notice, will incur the following rescheduling fees:
- 15-29 days before the original session date:
$200 rescheduling fee - 8-14 days before the original session date:
$400 rescheduling fee - 7 days or fewer before the original session date:
$600 rescheduling fee
Rescheduling fees must be paid before a new session date will be reserved. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 90 days of the original session date unless otherwise approved. Peak season dates, limited availability dates, and promotional dates may be excluded from rescheduling ability.
If the original session date is successfully rebooked with another paid client, additional rescheduling fees may be reduced or waived at Photographer discretion.
Please note that the signed contract contains the full cancellation and rescheduling terms agreed upon for your specific session.

Additional Policies & Considerations
Exclusivity & Recording
Photography and/or video recording during your session is not permitted without prior permission, including cell phone photos, video recordings, or additional photographers/videographers.
Appearance, Hair & Makeup & Retouching
If you choose to have professional hair and makeup completed before your session, your feedback is always welcome. Please notify the stylist of any allergies or sensitivities before services begin, and ensure you are fully happy with your final look before photography begins.
Basic retouching is included with all sessions and may include skin smoothing, removal of temporary blemishes, and correction of wardrobe indentations. Retouching does not include removal of tan lines, correction of tanning or spray tan issues, extensive body reshaping, or advanced hair editing/removal.
Please note that spray tans may transfer onto wardrobe pieces, furniture, linens, or studio materials and may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees if damage occurs.
Hair must be fully dry upon arrival to the studio. Additional styling fees may apply if additional drying time is required.
Product Pricing & Order Fulfillment
All product and image orders are expected to be completed during the reveal & ordering appointment. In limited circumstances, Brooke may approve a short extension of up to 3 days to finalize an order.
All prices are subject to change for outstanding or incomplete orders. All completed orders are final and non-refundable.
If an additional reveal & ordering appointment is requested for any reason, a $200 administrative fee will apply and must be paid before the appointment is confirmed.

Guests
Partners are generally not permitted during individual boudoir sessions. Exceptions may apply for approved pre-payment bonuses, specialty sessions, or specific photographed sets arranged in advance.
Additional guests, friends, or family members are permitted only with prior approval from Brooke. Approval may vary depending on the type of session, studio space limitations, privacy considerations, and the overall flow of the session experience.
If you would like someone to attend your reveal & ordering appointment, please discuss this with Brooke in advance.
Late Arrival or No Show
Please arrive on time for your session. Session times are reserved specifically for each client, and late arrivals may reduce the amount of time available during your session.
Failure to arrive for a scheduled session without communication will be considered a no call/no show and subject to the cancellation policies outlined above.
Payments & Payment Plans
Credit cards, debit cards, and cash are accepted. Checks are not accepted.
Certain pricing incentives or promotional offers may apply to payments completed in full at the reveal & ordering appointment. Cash payments qualifying for these incentives must be paid in full at the time the order is placed.
Clients interested in breaking up payments over time may choose to participate in a pre-payment plan before their session date. Pre-payment plans must be arranged and finalized at least 7 days before the scheduled session date.
Brooke Summer Photography does not offer in-house financing or payment plans after the session date. However, clients may choose to utilize third-party financing providers such as Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Credit, or other available financing services at the reveal & ordering appointment, subject to approval and the provider’s individual terms and conditions.
All payments made are non-refundable.
Children
Due to the intimate nature of boudoir photography, children are not permitted during sessions.
If childcare conflicts arise for a reveal & ordering appointment, please reach out in advance and we will do our best to accommodate the situation.
Mutual Respect
Every effort will be made to create a comfortable, respectful, and safe environment for everyone involved.
If behavior occurs that causes discomfort, concern, or safety issues for clients, staff, stylists, assistants, or Photographer, the session or appointment may be ended immediately without refund.
Privacy Policy
Standard sessions are kept completely private and confidential. No images will be shared publicly, published, displayed, or used for marketing, social media, editorial purposes, or in-studio display without the Client’s written permission.
Clients who choose to share images may approve specific images for use while keeping others private.
Model sessions require a signed model release before the session and are photographed with the understanding that approved images may be used publicly.
Location
Sessions take place in Brooke’s studio in the Denver metro area unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Sessions requiring travel may be subject to travel fees. Custom travel pricing is available for destinations outside the Denver metro area.
Pets, Animals & Exotics
Please do not bring pets, animals, or exotic animals to the studio without prior approval.
We love incorporating animals into sessions, but advance communication is required to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone involved, including the animals.
Outfits & Sets
Sessions include two or three outfits of your choice, depending on the session type, or the option of combining wardrobe with implied or nude sets.
Additional outfits, specialty sets, and bonus experiences may be available through select pre-payment options and promotions. Please see the Pre-Payment Options page for current details and availability.
Drugs, Alcohol & Intoxication
Boudoir sessions can absolutely feel nerve-wracking, but clients must arrive able to safely participate in their session.
Any signs of intoxication or impairment may result in the immediate conclusion of the session without refund or rescheduling consideration. Illegal drugs or substances are not permitted in the studio under any circumstances.
Weapons
If you would like to incorporate weapons or prop weapons into your session, please discuss this with Brooke before your session date.
While many studios do not allow weapons on set, Brooke is experienced in photographing a wide variety of themes and props, including approved weapons, provided all studio safety protocols are followed.
All weapons must be disclosed and approved in advance. Safety remains the top priority for all clients, staff, stylists, assistants, and guests.
