First: please know that policies update & change.

When 2020 hit and EVERYTHING had to change, it was difficult to keep up with everything. Please see your contract for the most up-to-date information and details on EVERYTHING related to your session, because different types of sessions might have different policies. This is an overall big picture view. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out, I’m always happy to help!

You’ll note that a LOT of the policies say to reach out to Brooke before your session – I must say, I’m one of the more flexible photographers in the area when it comes to specific themes or props. BUT – let’s talk ahead of time. We want to make sure that everyone is safe, including all assistants, stylists, animals and more.

Booking, Scheduling & Appointments

Booking a Session:
Booking can be completed via online booking, over the phone, and via email. At the time of booking, your date and time will be chosen, and a session fee & retainer and signed contract is required to reserve your date. The session fee & retainer is non-refundable.
Reveal & Ordering:
All images must be ordered at the reveal & ordering appointment or will be purged & deleted permanently. Reveal & ordering appointments are scheduled no later than 30 days after the photo session, typically 1-2 weeks after the photo session.
If the Client requires an additional reveal and ordering appointment for any reason, the appointment will be subject to a $200 administrative fee, to be paid before the additional appointment is confirmed. If the Client does not complete an order within 24 hours of the reveal and ordering appointment, the images will be permanently deleted.

Rescheduling & Cancelations

All requests regarding scheduling, including sessions, reveal & ordering appointments, cancelations and rescheduling are subject to the following policies. Due to scheduling with all parties involved, the more notice the better, fees will reflect that.

Cancelation:
*30+ days beforehand – $200 administrative fee
*15-29 days beforehand – $300 administrative fee
*14 days or less beforehand – complete forfeiture of all payments made prior to the original session date, plus a $500 cancelation fee. Should the Client find a replacement for the original session date, a refund less a $200 administrative fee paid will be applied, to process all of the required paperwork to book the original session date & coordinate the schedules of all involved parties.

ALL cancelation fees are in addition to forfeiture of the non-refundable session retainer.

Rescheduling:
* 30+ days beforehand – may do so to a new date within 60 days of the original session date ONE time without additional cost, based on the Photographer’s available dates.
* If Client chooses to reschedule their session a second time, or they are less than 30 days before their session date, the following fees will apply:
Rescheduling more than 30 days from the original session date will incur an additional $200 administrative fee to cover the time needed to re-coordinate the schedules of all involved parties. Rescheduling 8-29 days before the original session date will incur an additional $300 fee. If Client chooses to reschedule their session less than 7 days from the original session date, a new date will be honored only with an additional $1499 fee to cover Photographer’s loss of income for the original session date. ALL rescheduling fees are in addition to forfeiture of the non-refundable session retainer.

A no call/no show will result in a complete forfeiture of all payments, including any pre-payment plan payments, made prior to the original session date, as the Photography will be unable to book another client on the same day with no notice.

All additional fees will be charged to the card on file at the time of cancelation. If the card is declined, Client will be manually invoiced. If the invoice is not paid within 24 hours, the account will be submitted to a collection agency, credit reporting agencies, and/or small claims court.

Various offers and/or limited edition sessions may have specific rules for the offer, please read the full details of the offer before booking.

Additional Policies & Considerations

Exclusivity & Recording:
Other photography and/or video recording is not allowed during your session without permission, including cell phone photos, or other photographers.

Appearance, Hair & Makeup and Retouching:
If you opt to have hair and makeup completed before your session, your feedback is welcome! Please notify the stylist of any and all allergies, as well as a final agreement that you LOVE your look before we start photographing. Basic retouching is included in all photo sessions, which includes skin smoothing, removal of minor blemishes, and retouching or shaping of indentation caused by wardrobe. Retouching does not include removal of tan lines, correction of tanning or spray tan, extensive body shaping, or extensive hair removal. Spray tan may cause issues in wardrobe and linens, and may incur a fee to clean and/or replace them. Hair must be dry upon arrival to the studio, or an additional fee may be charged.

Product Pricing and Order Fulfillment:
Orders must be placed at the reveal and ordering appointment. All prices are subject to change for any outstanding orders. All orders are final and non-refundable. If you need an additional reveal and ordering appointment for any reason, there is a $150 fee. If your order is not complete within 24 hours of the reveal and ordering appointment, the images will be permanently deleted.

Guests:
Partners (except for couples’ boudoir sessions) are not allowed during the session. If you would like to bring a partner to the reveal, please notify Brooke in advance. Please discuss any friends or family members before your session with Brooke.

Late Start or No Show:
Please arrive on time to your session. Your time and date was chosen when your session was confirmed. If you arrive late, time will be deducted from your session to accommodate the scheduled time. If you don’t arrive at ALL for your session, any payments made beforehand, either session retainer or pre-payment packages, will be forfeited.

Payments and Payment Plans:
Credit cards, debit cards, and cash are accepted. Checks are NOT accepted. Payment plans are available in two formats: at the reveal and ordering appointment through Square financing (requires approval), or pre-payment is available before your session, with recurring payments. All payments completed are non-refundable.

Children:
Because of the intimate nature of boudoir, children are NOT allowed during a session. If there is a conflict for the ordering and reveal appointment, please talk to me and we will see what we can do!

Mutual Respect:
All efforts will be made to create a comfortable environment for all involved. If at any time there is behavior that causes someone to be uncomfortable, parties may be asked to leave, without refund.

Privacy Policy:
Standard sessions – all images are kept private, and will not be published anywhere including but not limited to online, editorial purposes, marketing, or in-studio. Your images are confidential, unless you choose to share, in which case you can choose which images are shared, and which to keep private.
Model sessions – all images are pre-released with a full model release before the session.

Location:
All sessions take place in my studio in the Denver metro area, unless otherwise specified ahead of time. Any sessions that require travel are subject to a $50 travel fee within the Denver metro area, custom pricing available for travel beyond the Denver metro area.

Pets, Animals & Exotics:
Please do not bring pets, animals or exotic animals without speaking to Brooke before your session. We LOVE animals, but need to make sure everyone is safe, including the animals.

Outfits & Sets:
All sessions include two or three outfits of your choice – or one outfit, and one nude set! Additional outfits are available as a bonus with pre-payment, talk with Brooke for more details.

Drugs, Alcohol & Intoxication: 
Your boudoir session is an experience that can cause some to be nervous, but I think we all know that drunk and high eyes are not sexy eyes. Any signs of intoxication will conclude our session immediately, without any refunds or considerations due to time. Illegal drugs or substances are not allowed in the studio whatsoever.

Weapons:
Please talk with Brooke before your session if you plan to include weapons of any kind. We have had LOTS of different weapons in the studio, but want to make sure that everyone is safe, so all weapons must be cleared ahead of time.
