Something happened tonight that we don’t get to see every day. In Colorado we didn’t get to see the full view, the straight on view that you usually see online, but it was still amazing to see. Yes, I know that we are geeks.

Tom poked a hole in a piece of paper to see the shadow on the wall, to keep Kaden from looking into the sun.

Unfortunately for me, but fortunately for you, I am more stubborn. It is VERY hard not to look into the sun when something cool is happening. I realize that this photo looks like the moon, but it is the sun, with the moon’s shadow on the right side. The clouds weren’t cooperating, but the sun finally broke through and we were able to catch some of it!

I have kind of taken this whole weekend off… which is pretty rare for me. Next weekend will be insanely busy though, so I needed some down time. I hope that everyone’s weekend was fabulous, love on your families, happy Sunday!
