This June marks something incredibly special for me in my Colorado boudoir studio:

20 Years in Business

Which feels so weird to say out loud.

Remember when you were younger and you heard someone say they’ve been doing something for twenty years and you’re like WOW YOU’RE SO OLD.

Yeah… I guess we’re there.

For two decades, women have trusted me with some of the most vulnerable, emotional, empowering, healing, exciting, and transformative moments of their lives. I’ve photographed women through marriages, divorces, pregnancies, reinventions, grief, celebrations, confidence journeys, motherhood, heartbreak, and fresh starts.

After 20 years as a Denver boudoir photographer, I’ve learned that the experience matters just as much as the final images…

Likely more.

Because the best boudoir sessions have never just been about images. They’re about how a woman feels while she’s here. Safe. Seen. Celebrated. Taken care of. Fully present for herself for once.

And as my Colorado boudoir studio continues evolving, I’ve been making some updates designed to create an even smoother experience moving forward.

New Cash Incentives Beginning June 1

Starting June 1, the studio will be offering updated cash incentives for qualifying orders paid in full at the reveal & ordering appointment.

This allows me to continue streamlining the studio experience for both my clients and myself.

And – after 20 years in business, simplifying systems and protecting energy has become one of my favorite hobbies. People around me hear this often – I’m ALL FOR anything that makes my life easier, and if I can set things up to make life easier for my clients AND myself?

Win. Win.

Full details will always be discussed transparently during the ordering process so clients can choose the option that feels best for them. It’s not a REQUIREMENT, just an option, that will give you a little bonus if you choose to pay in cash.

Because – I think we can all agree that the billionaires and banks make enough, let’s keep some money in the hands of the people, right?

Updated Rescheduling & Cancellation Policies

I’ve also updated some studio policies regarding rescheduling and cancellations.

The reality is that boudoir sessions involve far more than simply “showing up with a camera.” Every session date reserves dedicated studio time, preparation, planning, hair and makeup scheduling, and significant behind-the-scenes coordination with multiple professionals.

These updated policies are designed to protect the experience for everyone involved while also allowing the studio to continue serving clients at the highest level possible.

As always, communication matters tremendously, and I will continue approaching client situations with both professionalism and humanity. And a little bit of humor, because if you can’t laugh as we go through this crazy life, we’ll go mad, right?

The Fun Part – 20th Anniversary Celebration Plans

Now for the exciting part…

I have some REALLY fun things planned this year to celebrate 20 years in business.

And if you’ve followed me for a while, you already know I don’t do boring very well.

There will be celebration sessions, special events, throwbacks, giveaways, surprises, probably a little chaos, and almost certainly some emotional moments because apparently that’s who I am as a person now.

Mostly though?

I just feel incredibly grateful.

This studio has grown with me through so many different seasons of life, and the women who have trusted me along the way have changed my life more than they probably realize.

So here’s to 20 years.
To evolution.
To confidence.
To reinvention.
To women continuing to choose themselves.

And guess what –

We’re just getting started!
