Whew. The last week has been a little crazy, and that’s putting it mildly. So this week’s randomness is a little late. I could just say that I’m still on Florida time, but I think that would mean it would have to be earlier. Happy Tuesday. ;)

I am thrilled that the beautiful Jennifer Campbell, of Denver Designer Cakes, has put some of the Clocktower Shoot photos on her blog! Her cake was just gorgeous, I love her designs! Click here to see the post!

Do I really need to tell my son “no, you cannot wear the same clothes that you’ve worn for a week, you smell like a hobo.” Does his nose not work properly? Maybe I need to have that checked out. Although Tom doesn’t smell it either, so maybe it’s a guy thing. Either way, ew.

I cannot even tell you how excited I was to see this.

I was pretty pleased that I was able to get my phone out for a picture so quickly. Yes, I am one of THOSE people. I get ridiculously overwhelmingly excited when I go to Disneyland. And in this case, we didn’t go to Disneyworld, but just Downtown Disney. I promised Kaden we wouldn’t go without him, but we both LOVE those stupid Disney pins, so we made the trip to Orlando. Almost two hours, one way, for pins. One of the cast members I traded with looked at me like I had three heads when I told him that, it’s okay, I own my crazy geekiness. Let’s put it this way – trading pins gives me an excuse to A. purchase the pins for my most favorite characters and collect them, and B. TALK TO PEOPLE that I don’t know because we magically have something in common. And then it’s not creepy when I talk to some random stranger in the parks. And I love it. Maybe this is a post for another time, there are stories people! ;)

Kaden and I went to the food truck extravaganza last week. I know there is another name but I can’t remember what it is, so we’ll go with that. Anyone who has traveled with me knows, I will eat my way through the cities I go to, I love trying new things. And food trucks are an awesome way to do that – I LOVE them!

We had Greek food. Gyros and Greek fries with feta and tzatziki. Ever since we had amazing food in Greece, I’m hooked! Although Kaden opted for ice cream for dessert instead of baklava. It was HOT, he pretty much had to drink it, so he called it a milkshake. ;)

I had three photo shoots while I was in FL, two of them at sunrise. Sunrise, yes you read that correctly. Let’s just say I don’t see the sunrise very often unless I haven’t gone to sleep. I’m not an early rise kinda girl. Tom gets up at like 4:30 in the morning, I prefer about 9:00. But I must say, the sunrise view at the beach shoots was amazing. Even with my little phone camera!

I will be recording a video tonight (hopefully) so wish me luck. I’m still video challenged, although I’m trying to get better! I’m not sure what we’re doing for Independence Day tomorrow, this is the first year we have been home in a long time! What are your plans for the 4th this year?

Have a fantastic week this week everyone, love to all!
