On Friday, July 29, 2011, I wrote a post that was very difficult for me to write. I publicly declared 111 goals that I wanted to complete in 1001 days. And I knew, this whole time, that the 1001 days ended in April. But for some reason, my mind thought it was April 2013. So I had some looming deadlines ahead of me!

While writing this post, I looked at the original and realized that the deadline is April 2014 – and I have mixed feelings. Part of me is relieved that I have more time for some of these goals. But part of me is frustrated, because I feel like these goals don’t really line up with my vision anymore, and I was looking forward to starting a new list. So now I’m left wondering, do I revise the original list? Check off the goals I’ve completed, and start a new list in April of 2013, even though it hasn’t been 1001 goals? I’m not entirely sure what I will do just yet, seeing that kind of caught me off guard.

What do you do when your goals that you’ve set no longer match the vision that you have for your life or business? Do you still finish the goals and work on them, or do you revise them and move forward?

I would love to hear your thoughts, please comment below. Help a sistah out. ;)

Because every post is better with a photo, I wanted to include one goal that is completed – a caricature of the three of us! We had this done at the Kemah Boardwalk in Texas a few months ago!
