Throwback – Featuring The Stunning Mrs. N – Best Denver Boudoir
The best Denver boudoir sessions happen for one reason. Yes, they can start out as a gift for someone else – what guy wouldn’t want photos of his wife feeling amazing and looking hot? But really, a boudoir session is a gift for YOU. As a woman.
Today’s gorgeous throwback feature is a beautiful mother and grandmother, and a wife to one of Denver’s finest. It was so funny, when they came to the studio to drop her off, we saw cops outside and wondered if something was wrong! Turns out it was just her husband, excited to drop her off for an amazing experience!
Mrs. N shared that she had always been the chunky tomboy when she was younger, and she was teased by other girls. It makes me so sad to see this, even with my daughter – who is only three. Being a woman is a challenge, why do we make it more challenging by not lifting each other up, and teasing each other?
She wanted to do a session for herself, and told me that she wanted to be able to say that “Even being a grandmother could look good.”
Umm… yes. Yes it sure does.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?
I did the boudoir photos to help me with my self esteem. It was a a great way to show myself that I do look good, even though no perfect is body. I feel anybody can do it even a grandmother like myself could look like a model for a day and look so amazing!!
How did you feel about being half naked in front of the camera?
I was very nervous at first about being half naked in front of a camera but it was so comfortable being with Brooke. She was cool and made me feel real comfortable as she took photos.
What’s the best compliment you ever received?
I think the best compliment I received was I don’t look like a grandmother.
What gets better with age?
I think as we age we become more confident about who we are.
When you are facing a day feeling kind of blah, what do you do to turn it around and help yourself feel beautiful and confident again?
When I’m having a blah day like not feeling sexy or pretty, I go back and look at my photos that I did with Brooke, and say “I’m beautiful and I’m sexy and damn I look great.”
How did you feel after seeing the photos we created?
After I did the session with Brooke I feel more positive about my self esteem.
A grandmother. A freakin’ hot grandmother for sure. I absolutely love the courage that I see in my clients – dealing with the crap they’ve dealt with in their past, and getting PAST it to be stronger than ever before!
