Bridal Boudoir – Featuring: The Stunning Mrs. W

It has been far too long since I have been able to share a feature with all of you! Not because I don’t have several to share, but with the Soiree and other things happening, the blog has taken a backseat. Which is NOT okay, and I’m planning to fix it!

Today’s beautiful bride opted to keep most of her photos private, and ALL of my clients have three options when it comes to sharing their photos: None, all, or some. I’m so thrilled to be able to share a couple, and she had some amazing answers for her feature, one of them cracked me up. The hope is still there girlfriend, they haven’t filmed yet! ;)

What do you love about your body?
For me, my favorite part of my body is my back. I have NO idea why but there’s something about it that’s so clean and natural and sexy. Plus if you had a few (or a lot!) late night snacks it doesn’t show ;) Other things I like about my physical appearance is my eyes, my skin and my hair :) I tend to get a lot of compliments on them so that always boosts the ego!

What do you wear when you want to feel amazingly gorgeous?
Anything with heels!!! Heels the one quick way to go from drab to fab (yes, drab to fab!) so I definitely put a pair on when I’m going out and want to feel my best!

What’s the best compliment you ever received?
I have two: (1) That I’m the nicest girl in the world (2) That I remind them of Anastasia from 50 Shades of Grey!! That was awesome. I’m still waiting for them to cast me in the role for the movie. Even though they already picked someone…I haven’t lost faith!

How did you feel about being half naked in front of the camera?
At first I was a little bit shy, unsure of how exactly I should be sitting that would look good and yet not be playboy material. But after awhile (and by that I mean 5 minutes) Brooke made me forget I was even naked! She’s such a professional but also knows how to make you feel comfortable and silly and sexy at the same time. She’s awesome.

Are there any memories that stick out to you that trigger certain feelings about how you feel about your body – negative or positive?
I’ve struggled with accepting my body since I was a sophomore in high school, and unfortunately still struggle with it today. I’ve battled anorexia several times so I have difficulty ever being happy with my weight and size. It’s taking time but I’m slowly understanding a number on a scale isn’t what makes us beautiful and sexy, it’s the way you feel about yourself and the way you project yourself to others. Corny, I know, it’s straight out of a Dove commercial, but it’s still 100% true.

Do you feel like your age affects how sexy you really are?
I heard someone say once that there are different kinds of sexy. There’s the stereotypical sexy that we all see in Hollywood or in magazines but then there’s sexy for someone who is in her 40’s and a mother. I think as you get older, the definition of sexy changes but you being sexy does not. It becomes a lot more about who you are as a person and not solely based off your appearance. Sexy, just like us females!!, comes in lots of shapes, sizes and packages :)

Mrs. W brings up a great point that I would really like to touch on for a bit… Personally, I am a curvy woman. And I know that I, and other curvy women, have this idea that the skinny chicks have no problems with their bodies. They have the perfect body, they must be happy with it, right? That is simply not true – we ALL have struggles, we all have insecurities, they are just different. One woman’s insecurities are no more important than another woman’s, they are just different. Sometimes we all need a few reminders to be more accepting of everyone – regardless of any physical feature that we may or may not have. Beauty from the inside really does radiate on the outside, and Mrs. W is an amazing example of beauty both inside and outside!

Mrs. W married a Bronco fan (awww yeah!) and wanted to get a few sexy jersey photos.

Jerseys, lingerie, and more… but we had to get a few bridal shots. This is such a huge moment in a woman’s life, I always encourage brides to bring some accessories so we can get a few sexy bride photos!
